Description

You will manage and maintain Greenplum database systems to ensure health, security, and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Greenplum software and database environments.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies.
• Manage backup procedures and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and database security measures.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support to users.
• Support underlying infrastructure, including SAN and networking.
• Collaborate on the design and architecture of Greenplum environments and hardware deployments.
• Maintain documentation for all Greenplum systems and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Greenplum database systems.
• Hands-on experience with Greenplum installation and upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for database and system issues.
• Experience managing SAN and networking infrastructure.
• Ability to design and architect Greenplum environments.
• Any Graduate degree.
