Description

Develop and maintain a disease surveillance system within a scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and support the disease surveillance system.
• Write clean, efficient code based on technical specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs into existing systems.
• Test and deploy programs within an agile framework.
• Gather user feedback to recommend and execute system improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Groovy and SpEL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and Jira.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within agile development frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jasper reports.
