Description

Build interfaces and simulators for robotic automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop features to automate the provisioning, operation, and support of large robotic fleets.
• Design and develop low-level workflows to control machine operation with high reliability.
• Simplify system code, workflows, exception handling, and hardware/software integration.
• Debug internal and field issues and develop tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting at scale.
• Implement automated testing strategies to ensure repeatable quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience programming with C/C++, Java, or Rust.
• 3-5 years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience working closely with physical hardware.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite in the Reading, MA area at least once a week to interface with hardware.
