Description

You will lead the modernization of BillingCenter using Guidewire technologies, owning architecture design and implementation within Agile environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and design future-state system architectures for BillingCenter.
• Develop, test, and implement configuration changes and code within the Guidewire platform.
• Perform code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and lead team tasks during sprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and onsite teams to support testing and resolve client queries.
• Review estimates, participate in sprint planning, and provide status reports in Agile settings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter implementation experience.
• At least two full Guidewire implementations completed.
• Strong proficiency in Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model configuration.
• Experience with Web Services, XML, and Ant script.
• Proficiency in Oracle or SQL Server and advanced SQL knowledge.
• Experience with SCM tools such as GIT, TFS, or SVN.
• Working knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, or Websphere servers.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodologies.
• Knowledge of insurance domain, software architecture, and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MuleSoft, Spring, or Hibernate.
• Understanding of the Guidewire PolicyCenter application.
