Description

You will own the configuration, development, and deployment of Guidewire BillingCenter modules, including architectural design, screen creation, and business rule implementation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build architectural diagrams and design documents based on software requirements.
• Design screens, business rules, and workflow changes.
• Write, configure, package, and deploy software while following established coding standards.
• Debug, unit test code, and perform peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Guidewire Application Development experience.
• 7+ years of Guidewire development experience with a focus on BillingCenter (BC) Configuration.
• Guidewire Cloud Certification.
• 7+ years of experience coding RESTful APIs and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.
• 7+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• 7+ years of experience coding in multiple languages including C#, Java, or Python.
• Expertise in Gosu language, Guidewire tools, accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and predefined plugins.
• Ability to read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
• Proficiency in Agile software development using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Configuration knowledge.
• MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL proficiency.
• Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
