Analyze business issues, system defects, and enhancement requests across Commercial P&C insurance products.
Develop clear business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and data rules.
Conduct requirements-gathering sessions and facilitate stakeholder reviews and approvals.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver functional solutions.
Support Guidewire PolicyCenter enhancements and maximize out-of-the-box functionality.
Participate in UAT planning, test script development, execution, and sign-off.
Support insurance products including Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property, Package, Inland Marine, and related commercial lines.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system usability, and operational efficiency.
Work within Agile/SDLC methodologies and support production issues through resolution.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Commercial P&C insurance industry.
Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or comparable policy administration platforms.
Strong understanding of Commercial P&C insurance processes and policy administration.
Experience developing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process diagrams.
Experience troubleshooting system defects and analyzing root causes.
Experience working with external system integrations.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and business analysis practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Guidewire PolicyCenter experience/certification.
Guidewire Cloud certification.
CBAP certification.
Experience with process-mapping and visualization tools.
Experience with SharePoint and UI mockup tools.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Insurance, or a related field.
