Description

Hands-on senior technical lead responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance products using the Guidewire Claims Center platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Claims Center development teams, managing 10-20 integration and configuration engineers across project and maintenance portfolios.
• Own end-to-end support of the Guidewire Claims Center ecosystem, including integrations with Policy, Financial, CRM, and third-party vendor systems.
• Manage the Claims Center platform and services to meet SLAs in both production and non-production environments.
• Govern engineering standards for security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Business Architecture, and Product teams to manage scope, planning, and implementation for the Claims portfolio.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years specifically in Guidewire Claims Center integration and configuration development.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead owning a Guidewire Claims Center production environment.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end Claims product implementations within the Commercial Insurance space.
• Technical management experience leading onshore and offshore teams of 10-20 engineers.
• Expertise in XML, GUnit, Jenkins, and version control systems such as GIT, Subversion, or TFS.
• Proficiency with code coverage and scanning tools including SonarQube or Netsparker.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire APIs and frameworks.
• Practical experience working within Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Claims Center Certification.
