Description

You will provide technical leadership and development for insurance system projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs to solve technical problems.
• Devise and modify technical solutions for complex insurance system requirements.
• Lead technical requirements gathering and build solutions for internal business areas.
• Collaborate with IT management, project teams, and maintenance members.
• Act as an internal technical mentor and consultant for the team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding, testing, implementation, support, and sunsetting.
• Deep knowledge of Guidewire and its database structures.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring frameworks.
• Solid understanding of AWS and Guidewire Integration.
• Experience designing and developing web services.
• Experience building single-page applications using Angular, React, Ember, or Vue.
• Understanding of security and infrastructure design considerations.
• Experience working within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
