Description

You will develop and configure insurance applications using the Guidewire platform, managing server-side logic and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and integrate applications using XML and Gosu.
  • Develop server-side logic using Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Manage data modeling and relational database connectivity.
  • Implement messaging and web services for application integration.
  • Collaborate within Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, including EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, and JPA.
  • Hands-on experience with Gosu and Guidewire development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with XML configuration and integration.
  • Knowledge of insurance domains, specifically Personal Lines and Commercial Claims.
  • Proficiency in relational database management and data modeling.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.
