Description

Design, develop, and test technical solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem, leading code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, and test significant technical solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Lead code and design reviews to ensure operational accuracy and effective team planning.
• Resolve complex production issues and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions across multiple systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technology direction within specific domains.
• Organize work and lead teams to deliver features and solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration Development.
• Proficiency in Java and Gosu development.
• 2+ years of cloud experience with Guidewire Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Personal Auto line of business.
• Ability to independently research technical issues and generate solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile environments and program management.
• Experience managing vendors and monitoring SLOs.
• Exposure to AWS processes and tools.
