Description

You will design, develop, and test technical solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem, leading migrations to AWS Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter out-of-box services, in-house APIs, and third-party vendor APIs.
• Migrate legacy applications to Guidewire and AWS Cloud while creating reusable patterns to reduce future migration costs.
• Lead code and design reviews to ensure accurate team-level planning and smooth daily operations.
• Resolve complex production issues and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions spanning multiple applications and systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with architecture to influence technology direction within your domain.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise including Product Model configuration, Entity, Batch process, PCF, Gosu Scripts, and Rules.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter Associate certification for version 10.x.
• Hands-on experience with Web Services Integrations.
• Proficiency in Java, Kafka, Spring, Redis, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Implementation from inception through implementation phases.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire ACE 10.x certification.
• Experience working with Commercial Lines within Guidewire.
