Description

Design and implement scalable integrations between Guidewire InsuranceSuite PolicyCenter and external systems using APIs and middleware.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations between Guidewire and third-party applications using REST APIs and IG App.
• Configure messaging patterns including point-to-point, pub/sub, and event-driven architectures via APP Events.
• Develop custom integration components and middleware solutions using Apache Camel or similar platforms.
• Define data mapping rules, transformations, and validation logic to ensure seamless system interoperability.
• Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot production errors, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing integrations within Guidewire InsuranceSuite, specifically PolicyCenter.
• Proficiency in Java and Gosu programming languages.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs, IG App, and AppEvents.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Camel or similar middleware frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, XML, JSON, and data transformation tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Associate Certified (mandatory) with ACE certification in Integrations (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise-scale integration templates and reusable design patterns.
