Description

Contribute to technical streams within Guidewire projects as part of a technology consulting team. Interface with onsite coordinators and provide regular status reporting to the project lead. Complete assigned technical tasks within established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java 5, JEE, and XML.
• Implement Web Services (Axis 2) and build processes using ANT.
• Manage application deployment on Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 5, JEE, XML, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Castor and Enterprise Messaging Systems.
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Web Services (Axis 2).
• Background in Property & Casualty Insurance domain (Personal or Commercial Lines).
• BE, BTech, or MCA degree.
• Ability to manage applications on Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
• Client-facing experience and business communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Personal Lines (Auto, Property, Homeowners) or Commercial Lines (Workers Compensation, Farm, Business Owners).
