Description

You will develop and maintain software solutions within the Guidewire Insurance Now application environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system specifications and use cases to create low-level design plans.
• Design and develop complex software solutions following established methodology and internal controls.
• Identify system dependencies and evaluate the impact of proposed changes on integrated applications.
• Conduct unit and system integration testing to ensure software meets performance and security standards.
• Document design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Direct experience with Guidewire Insurance Now applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with MySQL and writing stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of XML and HTML.
• Experience with database, desktop, and web application development.
• Ability to manage data integration projects.
• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
