Description

Lead the design, development, and customization of insurance solutions on Guidewire PolicyCenter. Own the architecture and system diagrams while managing the project lifecycle from concept to release.

Responsibilities

• Design and customize insurance solutions to meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Implement Guidewire PolicyCenter projects from initial concept through final release.
• Provide estimates for business cases, impact assessments, and project requests.
• Direct junior offshore staff and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Document architecture and system diagrams for all implemented solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter V10 Configuration, Integration, and Rating Engine.
• Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration and Integration.
• Expertise in Gosu script development and product model configuration.
• Extensive experience with Guidewire data models, rules, clustering, and database configurations.
• Proficiency in JVM technologies including Java 8, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of XML, SOAP, REST, and Enterprise Messaging Systems.
• Experience with RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and tools like SQL Developer.
• Practical experience building GUnits and following DevOps branching and merging strategies.
• Competency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, and JDBC.
