Description

Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications, owning configurations, integrations, and customizations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement Guidewire configurations and customizations to meet business requirements.
• Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
• Support CI/CD initiatives, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT application development experience.
• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (v9.0+).
• Strong expertise in Guidewire Configuration and Integration.
• Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, JUnit, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP).
• Experience with application monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
• Proven ability to optimize application performance and scalability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud implementations and modern integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
