Description

You will develop and maintain components for the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform, including product models, rating engines, APIs, and integrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure PolicyCenter components using Gosu and Java.
• Implement system enhancements, batch processes, and REST API integrations.
• Resolve configuration issues and support production applications, including on-call rotations.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and partners in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
• Proven experience developing in Gosu for PolicyCenter configurations.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming using Java/J2EE.
• Experience with REST APIs, XML, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with deployment practices in Guidewire Cloud.
