Description

You will provide technical leadership for Guidewire PolicyCenter development and oversee application environment integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and enforce application architecture vision.
• Oversee code reviews to establish development standards.
• Partner with project teams to deliver technical designs, implementation plans, and estimates.
• Mentor team members and vendor partners on guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, BAs, and QA leads using Agile methodology.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration using Gosu (versions 7.0, 8.0, or 10).
• 5+ years developing web-based Java, J2EE, or .NET applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java Web Services, JMS, JSP, XML, JSON, and JDBC.
• Proficiency with SOAP and REST web services.
• Experience leading software development teams and shaping technical specifications.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational database technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills within an Agile framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Batch, Spring Boot, or containerization in cloud environments like OpenShift, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, and SonarQube.
• Experience with JBoss or open-source database technologies.
