Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations for Guidewire PolicyCenter.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and messaging queues.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and create detailed documentation.
• Guide junior developers and participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot defects, and manage release and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development and integration.
• Deep expertise in PolicyCenter, Gosu programming, Guidewire Studio, and PCF configuration.
• Proficiency in Java and Gosu.
• Experience developing and consuming web services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain and data modeling.
• Proficiency with Jira for tracking user stories and defects.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Soap UI and Postman.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter modules.
