You will develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications using Gosu code and Studio tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement Gosu application code and configurations for PolicyCenter modules.
• Translate functional specifications from analysts and business users into technical designs for deployment.
• Review offshore development work covering PCF configuration, business rules, and data model creation.
• Coordinate with service providers and integration owners to ensure production application uptime.
• Propose configuration and integration solutions and estimate effort for user story requirements.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter modules, specifically Configuration and Rating.
• 3+ years of development experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter with demonstrated GOSU programming ability.
• Strong design and development experience integrating systems using Web Services technologies (JAXRPC, JAXWS, JAXB, Apache Axis 2).
• 3+ years of experience developing multi-tier web-based applications using JAVA, J2EE, WSDL, XML, SOA, and JMS.
• Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration with complete end-to-end implementation experience.
• Experience with SQL Server or DB2 database environments.
• Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBOSS J2EE containers.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills within a complex application stack, particularly in a production support setting.
