Description

You will develop and maintain Gosu application code and configuration within Guidewire Studio to support PolicyCenter functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test solutions using the Guidewire Rating Module.
• Translate functional specifications from Analysts and Business Users into technical designs for implementation.
• Review Offshore Development work covering PCF Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and integration owners to ensure applications remain operational.
• Propose configuration and integration solutions, estimating effort as part of User Story requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of development experience specifically with Guidewire Policy Center and GOSU programming.
• 8+ years of experience developing multi-tier web-based applications using JAVA, J2EE, and SOA principles.
• Strong design and development experience integrating systems using Web Services technologies (WSDL, SOAP, XML).
• Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration, including rating engine development.
• Experience with SQL Server or DB2 database environments.
• Proficiency with Java programming and J2EE application containers (e.g., WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS).
• Familiarity with code versioning systems, specifically SVN.
• Experience operating in a Production support team and understanding the Onsite/Offshore model.
