Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter components to implement regional insurance rules and rating logic.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build PolicyCenter components using GOSU and Guidewire Studio.
• Configure the Rating module, including rate books, tables, and routines.
• Implement state-specific underwriting rules, forms, and validations.
• Review offshore deliverables for PCF business rules and data model changes.
• Resolve production defects and estimate effort during sprint planning.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience.
• Proficiency in GOSU programming and Guidewire APIs.
• Strong experience in PolicyCenter configuration, rating, and regional rollouts.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end PolicyCenter implementation.
• Understanding of multi-tier application architectures and Agile delivery models.
• Experience working in an onsite/offshore setup with excellent troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire PolicyCenter certification.
• Java, J2EE, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) integration experience.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, DB2, or version control tools like SVN.
