Description

You will validate Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions within the P&C insurance lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system specifications to extract requirements and develop detailed test cases and scripts.
• Build and maintain a repository of functional test cases, test data, and automated scripts.
• Execute manual and automated tests, reporting outcomes and documenting bugs for development teams.
• Manage testing logs for functional, end-to-end, and regression phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing.
• Direct experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle.
• Hands-on testing experience within the insurance industry, specifically in Rating and Commercial lines.
• Experience testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
• Proficiency in VB Script, XML, or SQL.
• Experience with automation tools such as HP QTP or Selenium.
• Solid understanding of QA methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM).
