You will execute manual and automated testing for Guidewire Property & Casualty Policy lifecycle solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system specifications to extract requirements and craft detailed test cases and scripts.
• Develop and maintain a repository of functional test cases, test data, and automated scripts.
• Execute manual and automated tests, reporting outcomes and documenting bugs for development teams.
• Maintain logs for functional, end-to-end, and regression testing phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing.
• Direct experience with Guidewire solutions within the P&C Policy lifecycle.
• Hands-on testing experience in the Insurance industry, specifically with Retail and Commercial lines of business.
• Experience testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
• Proficiency in VB Script, XML, and SQL.
• Experience with automation tools such as HP QTP or Selenium.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM).
