Description

Lead design, development, and delivery of Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance products while owning the Guidewire Claims Center platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Claims Center development teams, managing 10-20 integration and configuration engineers.
• Manage and support the Claims Center platform and services to meet SLAs across production and non-production environments.
• Own the technical ecosystem, including integrations with Policy, Financial, CRM, bureaus, and third-party vendors.
• Govern engineering standards for security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation including architecture, sequence, and deployment diagrams alongside production runbooks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in IT with 7+ years specifically in Guidewire Claims Center integration and configuration roles.
• Expert hands-on experience with Java, GOSU, XML, Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with J2EE, Tomcat, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, and code analysis tools like SonarQube or Netsparker.
• Strong knowledge of GUnit, XML, and SQL.
• Proven technical leadership managing onshore/offshore teams of 10-20 people.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end Claims product implementations in the Commercial Insurance space.
• Experience working within Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
• Direct experience owning a Guidewire Claims Center production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Claims Center Certification.
