Description

You will lead a team of 10-20 integration and configuration engineers to deliver Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end support of the Guidewire Claims Center ecosystem, including integrations for Policy, Financial, and CRM systems.
• Oversee development teams in designing, developing, and delivering Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance products.
• Govern engineering standards for security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, and deployment.
• Manage technical documentation including architecture, sequence, and deployment diagrams.
• Ensure unit and functional tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines with high code coverage.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in IT with 7+ years specifically in Guidewire Claims Center integration and configuration.
• Expertise in Java, Gosu, and Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with J2EE, Tomcat, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred).
• Proficiency with GUnit, Jenkins, and version control (GIT, Subversion, or TFS).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using code coverage and scan tools like SonarQube or Netsparker.
• Proven technical leadership managing onshore/offshore teams of 10-20 engineers.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end Claims product implementations in the Commercial Insurance space.
• Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Claims Center Certification.
