Description

You will manage and support Hadoop platforms, ensuring end-to-end platform operations, stability, and performance. You will handle patching, automation, and configuration management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support user platforms and data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hadoop platforms, including building, maintaining, and troubleshooting end-to-end operations.
• Perform patching, automation, and configuration management to ensure platform stability.
• Monitor system metrics, handle incident resolution, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
• Serve as a technical liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver optimal solutions.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Hadoop administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera support and patching.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS, and YARN.
• Proficiency in cluster management, troubleshooting, and automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and scripting languages.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, Impala, and HBase.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Cloudera Admin/Dev and Cloud technologies.
