Description

You will manage Hadoop infrastructure and support operational stability through incident and problem management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology incidents and execute problem management processes.
• Monitor system health using Prometheus, Splunk, SiteScope, and ThousandEyes.
• Administer the Hadoop ecosystem and its core components.
• Automate tasks and manage workflows using Unix scripting and job schedulers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration or a similar operational role.
• Deep knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive, HBase, Spark, and Hue.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting.
• Experience with Autosys or similar job scheduling tools.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, SiteScope, or ThousandEyes.
• Proven experience in technology incident and problem management.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
