Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale data infrastructure and streaming platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Kafka clusters and Confluent Kafka environments.
• Manage capacity, performance, and operational stability for Hadoop and Cloudera CDH ecosystems.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and deployment workflows using Ansible.
• Implement authentication and authorization processes across data platforms.
• Support engineering builds of products and tools within a DevOps framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data platform administration or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka installation and configuration.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and Python.
• Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Cloudera CDH, HDFS, Hive, and HBase.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible for automation.
• Experience working within AWS environments.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of system monitoring, backup/restore processes, and load balancing.
• Experience with CyberArk, password management, or general system administration.
