Description

You will administer and maintain big data platforms across Hortonworks, Cloudera, and MapR environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer secured environments using Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, KMS, and SSL certificates.
• Perform capacity planning for HDFS file systems and YARN resources.
• Execute product upgrades, cluster expansions, and high availability configurations for core services.
• Troubleshoot service issues by reviewing logs to identify root causes and coordinate with product vendors.
• Optimize platform performance by reviewing and implementing vendor-provided solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data platform administration.
• Proficiency with Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, and Spark.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Hive, Sqoop, Distcp, and file ingestion patterns.
• Expertise in managing encryption zones and security protocols.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive technical decisions.

• Any Graduate degree.
