Description

You will manage and maintain Hadoop clusters across multi-cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up, upgrade, and configure Hadoop clusters using Hortonworks and Cloudera.
• Monitor cluster performance and execute data operations within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Design and implement disaster recovery protocols to protect data during system crashes.
• Provide hardware architectural guidance, capacity planning, and storage estimation for deployments.
• Collaborate with application teams and coordinate with Cloudera support to resolve platform issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in big data administration.
• Hands-on experience with HBase, Kafka, and HDFS.
• Proficiency with Linux systems and RedHat server maintenance using command-line tools.
• Experience working with AWS Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of DataRobot, Unravel, and Cloud Break.
• Ability to manage ecosystems including Hive and Kafka.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure HD Insights and Google Cloud Platform.
