Description

You provide production support for Hadoop-based applications in a financial services environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between offshore and onshore teams to resolve technical issues.
• Lead triage calls and execute Unix scripts to troubleshoot and fix system problems.
• Communicate fraud issues and system status directly to leadership.
• Support big data workflows within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support or Production Support.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive and Spark.
• Proficiency in Java and Unix scripting for troubleshooting and triage.
• Experience working within financial services.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
