Description

You will design and implement Hadoop solutions, focusing on migration and upgrade projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration projects from Cloudera to PowerScale to ensure seamless transitions.
• Design, implement, and optimize Hadoop solutions on PowerScale infrastructure.
• Architect scalable solutions that meet business requirements and follow best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on Hadoop architecture and solution design to internal teams and clients.
• Perform system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize clusters.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Hadoop or Solution Architecture roles.
• Extensive knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Spark, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera migration to PowerScale or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Proven track record of delivering Hadoop solutions in enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) or Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) certification.
