Description

You will develop and manage big data solutions within the Hadoop ecosystem, including cluster administration and data pipeline management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze Hadoop clusters using Pig, HBase, and Sqoop.
• Create HBase tables to store various PII data formats.
• Import and export data between HDFS and relational database systems using Sqoop.
• Administer, install, upgrade, and manage CDH3, Pig, Hive, and HBase.
• Monitor cluster architecture and manage Hadoop log files.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop architecture (HDFS, Job Tracker, Task Tracker, NameNode, DataNode).
• Hands-on experience with MapReduce programming and distributed applications.
• Proficiency with Pig scripting, Hive, Sqoop, ZooKeeper, and Flume.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with Java, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, Spring, and JDBC.
• Experience with WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, and RMI.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, and HTML.
