Description

You will develop, test, and maintain software applications within the Hadoop ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop program logic for new applications or modify existing logic based on technical designs.
• Code, test, debug, document, and implement software applications.
• Define and execute comprehensive unit test cases to verify feature accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot software applications to ensure error-free output.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop ecosystem development.
• 2+ years of development experience with Spark, Scala, and Java or Python.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with PySpark.
• 2+ years of UNIX development experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ETL, Teradata, and Cloudera.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Git and job scheduling tools such as Autosys.
• Ability to navigate Mainframe jobs and code.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
