Description

Design, build, and maintain software solutions for the ECR RCF team using Hadoop and Hive within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software solutions in collaboration with users and business partners.
• Develop unit, integration, regression, and performance test suites for the framework.
• Analyze requirements and engineer solution options through active engagement with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior resources and communicate technical solutions effectively to the team.
• Participate in Agile rituals including work refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop and Hive technology architecture.
• 2+ years of Java application programming experience.
• Strong database skills working with Oracle, SQL Server, and Exadata.
• Experience with ETL processes and database refactoring strategies.
• Proficiency in performance tuning across Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to design, build, test, and document software.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack experience with Java, NodeJS, Angular 5, and React.
• Programming experience in Javascript and Hadoop scripting.
• Familiarity with Big Data platforms.
