Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data management systems using big data technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate systems for storing and managing large datasets.
• Write code for moderately complex, cross-platform system designs and enhancements.
• Review code from other developers and drive programming standards.
• Document technical specifications, identify integration points, and scope project effort.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and support application transition through the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with technical design and coding.
• In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages.
• Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Python, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with unit testing, release procedures, and change management.
• Proficiency using versioning and debugging tools.
• Ability to write detailed technical specifications and document migrations.
• Familiarity with MS Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio.
