Description

You will design, build, and maintain Hadoop-based data solutions, focusing on HDFS, Hive, and Sqoop integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Sqoop jobs to import and export data between Hadoop environments.
• Design and develop HDFS-based solutions using HiveQL to generate reports.
• Set up Hive structures and manage migrations across environments.
• Troubleshoot and tune MapReduce routines, Hive, Impala, and Spark for large datasets.
• Monitor Hadoop cluster performance, manage HDFS support, and review Linux/Hadoop logs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop development.
• Proficiency with Hive, HBase, MapReduce, and Spark.
• Strong experience with SQL and RDBMS utilities.
• Hands-on Shell scripting and Python for automation.
• Experience using Sqoop for data movement.
• Competency with Eclipse, XML, and JSON.
• Any Graduate degree.
