Description

You will manage on-premise Hadoop ecosystem architecture and lead cloud migration efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain on-premise Hadoop ecosystem environments.
• Execute lift-and-shift migrations of Hadoop workloads to Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze complex data problems to implement effective, zero-defect solutions.
• Drive project delivery with a focus on reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Big Data development and architecture.
• Expertise in Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, HDFS, YARN, and MapReduce.
• Experience with cloud hosting, specifically Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Jupyter notebooks.
• Proven track record of migrating workloads from on-prem to cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
