Description

Develop and maintain risk publication components within a Hadoop ecosystem, including calculation frameworks, dashboards, and visualization tools.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application requirements with business owners to define technical specifications.
• Code Volcker and RENT-D workflows for R&A risk publication using big data platforms.
• Implement server-side calculation frameworks to deliver accurate ratios.
• Develop dynamic dashboards and interactive visualizations for BI reporting.
• Coordinate code drop meetings within a Scrum framework to ensure production readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in big data development.
• Core Java proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with HDFS, Hive, and HBase.
• Proficiency in Pig, Spark, and Storm.
• Experience with Sqoop and Flume for data ingestion.
• Ability to write composite SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Spotfire for visualization.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
