Description

You will build and maintain big data solutions within production environments using the Cloudera ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage big data solutions using Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Develop AI models and implement distributed systems.
• Optimize and tune complex SQL queries for performance.
• Benchmark and debug critical issues in algorithms and software.
• Write and maintain Python and Unix shell scripts for data processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in big data and data warehousing architectural approaches.
• Strong experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, specifically Cloudera.
• Proficiency in Python and Scala.
• Experience with Hive and Spark.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in Unix and Shell scripting.
• Experience using Autosys for job scheduling.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Background in distributed systems.
