Description

You will administer Big Data platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance for HDFS and YARN resources.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Big Data platforms including Hortonworks, Cloudera, and MapR.
• Execute Hadoop capacity planning for HDFS and YARN resources.
• Manage secured environments using Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, KMS, Encryption zones, and Server SSL certificates.
• Perform product upgrades, cluster expansions, and establish High Availability for core services.
• Troubleshoot service issues by reviewing logs and collaborating with vendors for root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Big Data platform administration.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with HBase, Kafka, Spark, and Hive.
• Experience managing secured environments via Kerberos and Ranger.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong stakeholder management and decision-driving capabilities.
