Description

You will build and maintain large-scale distributed applications within a Big Data environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage distributed applications using Hadoop and MapReduce.
• Implement data movement and transformation processes using Sqoop, Pig, and Hive.
• Solve complex analytical problems within large-scale data ecosystems.
• Integrate ETL and BI tools to support data warehousing requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, MapReduce, and ZooKeeper.
• Proficiency in Java, Linux, and Apache.
• Proficiency in Perl, Python, or PHP.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Talend, or Pentaho.
• Experience with RDBMS including Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Data Warehousing Appliances like Netezza, Teradata, or Greenplum.
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Experience using BI and reporting software like Business Objects or MicroStrategy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale distributed applications.
