Description

You will develop and maintain data processing solutions within a Hadoop environment, taking full ownership of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and document software following established protocols and change management procedures.
• Execute unit testing and manage release procedures to ensure code quality and stability.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and present solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework to deliver software updates and manage tasks independently.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in IT development, programming, or coding within a Hadoop environment.
• Proficiency in Hadoop and Spark.
• Proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency using versioning tools and debugging tools.
• Experience working with Agile Methodology.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hive, Apache HBase, or Mongo.
• Experience with Spark streaming and Kafka for real-time data.
• Experience processing bulk or large volumes of data.
