Description

Develop big data solutions and distributed processing applications using the Hadoop ecosystem. Own ETL processes, batch jobs, and data models across RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and distributed processing applications.
• Design databases and data models using RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to manage large datasets.
• Implement schema designs within SOA architectures and develop data platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in core application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spark-Scala.
• Experience with Apache Hadoop, Hive, HBase, HDFS, YARN, and MapReduce.
• Strong skills in Spark-SQL, Data Frames, and RDD.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Sqoop, Oozie, and ZooKeeper.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases including Teradata.
• Proficiency in UNIX Shell Scripting and UNIX/Linux OS.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, JMS, JAXB, and J2E.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of distributed architectures, big data ecosystem internals, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Cloud computing or Snowflake.
