Manage big data development and administration within an Agile environment. Partner with functional areas to execute application design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Translate business functions into detailed technical requirements and solve complex technical problems independently. Deliver production-ready code within the Agile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Execute application design, coding, testing, and debugging for big data systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Solve complex technical problems through analytical debugging and development.
• Deliver production-ready code within an Agile SDLC framework.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional development experience.
• Core expertise in Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, and MapReduce.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with big data ecosystems including S3.
• Knowledge of database systems such as Exadata, NoSQL, Cassandra, or Neo4j.
• Experience working in Agile teams using tools like Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
