Manage big data development and administration within an Agile environment, delivering production-ready code and solving complex technical problems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute application design, coding, testing, and debugging for big data systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Solve complex technical problems through analytical debugging and development.
• Deliver production-ready code within an Agile SDLC framework.
• Partner with functional areas to manage documentation and project execution.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional development experience.
• Core expertise in Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, and MapReduce.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with big data ecosystems including S3.
• Knowledge of database systems such as Exadata, NoSQL, Cassandra, or Neo4j.
• Experience working in Agile teams using tools like Jira.
