Description

You will manage data integration and lifecycle processes across Big Data and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Identify source and target data to capture logical fields and technical specifications.
• Execute data mapping, logical data modeling, cleansing, and profiling.
• Participate in the full SDLC and operations support for Datawarehouse and Big Data systems.
• Evaluate business requests and production issues to develop system modifications.
• Perform code reviews for SQL, VBScript, COBOL, and VB programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Hadoop and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with Cloud Based Applications.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Java, VBScript, COBOL, and VB.
• Familiarity with Easytrieve.
• Knowledge of the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
