Description

You will design, build, and support Hadoop environments to process large-scale data sets and deliver scalable data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, install, configure, and maintain Hadoop environments.
• Transform data using Spark and Scala to uncover insights from vast data stores.
• Manage and deploy HBase, ensuring high-speed querying capabilities.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Test prototypes, oversee handover to operational teams, and maintain data security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop development and implementation.
• Proficiency with Spark and Scala for data transformation.
• Experience managing and deploying HBase.
• Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDEA, AutoSys, WinSCP, PuTTY, and GitHub.
• Ability to load and process data from disparate data sets.
• Experience creating scalable web services for data tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Teradata.
