We are seeking an experienced Senior Hadoop/Analytics Developer to join a large enterprise technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in big data technologies, analytics development, and software engineering, with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing solutions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality applications, participate in technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
• Develop and enhance existing applications while ensuring high-quality coding standards.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple platforms.
• Participate in technical design discussions and prepare detailed technical specifications.
• Review code developed by peers and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, System Analysts, and development teams.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support.
• Support application deployments and release management activities.
• Estimate development effort, identify project risks, and recommend solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, coding standards, change management, and IT controls.
• Research new technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
